Magnetic Track Building Set with Electric Train

What this is

A set of magnetic track pieces and a small electric train. The pieces snap to each other and to anything metal, so the track can be built flat on the floor, raised on its columns, or stuck straight up a fridge door or a glass window.

Why this one

• It runs up walls. The pieces take a suction cup, so you can stick them to glass or a cupboard and the train runs vertically.
• They have to build it. No remote, no app. Your child assembles it by hand, then runs the train on what they built.
• The train recharges. Plug in the cable to charge it; no buying batteries over and over.
• Road signs are included. Small signals and boards, so they can build a whole little town instead of a loop.
• Support columns. Pillars are included for building raised bridges and flyovers.
• Thick plastic. The pieces are chunky and made not to crack when they get dropped.

Who it is for

For a child who takes things apart and rebuilds them. It works from about three years upward, and it is the one on this store that gets built differently every time.
